The issue was a race condition with Mongo starting too slow on the VM and Administer was only waiting 3 seconds to boot. If you were having issues with anything you can retry now. Just pushed some hotfixes to a couple of apps.
I’m aiming for an interface which is nice to look at but not form over function with pretty animations which are not hard to watch and i’m glad it didnt go down like my old module. With Administer, if I don’t want Announcements all I have to do is click a button and it’s gone. One of my favorite parts about Administer is you can list servers, see advanced player statistics, and more. Updating here incase you’re not in the server. Thank you, I’ll update it and push next release. I’d like to give a heads up that i updated my module yesterday for better performance
Please let us know if you experience any issues with Occlusion Culling while testing in Studio Beta. It will not enable it for your users in your published experience. As announced at RDC24, we are testing Occlusion Culling in production on a few experiences at the moment.
It just makes the boring part 10x faster, https://www.redlion.casino/ so you can spend more time on what matters. If everyone just prompted something and shipped the same cookie-cutter game, I’d hate that too. This just helps more people actually finish something. I’m here to kill boilerplate so you can focus on game design, story, polish, and your own creative fingerprint. But that’s exactly why I built SuperbulletAI—to make quality fast, not just “fast trash.”
Issues
- We understand that many classic experiences are no longer actively maintained, and we want to help keep these popular classics available for players to enjoy.
- A little disappointing, but better late than never.
- Check out our Matchmaking Experiment Guide for setup instructions.
- By default, users in each age group can chat with users in the groups directly above and below theirs (i.e., users 9-12 can chat with users in their own group, as well as those in the under 9 and groups.)
- We’ve seen non-coders go from zero to scripting because they get instant feedback and real code examples instead of staring at a blank script.
- With Administer, if I don’t want Announcements all I have to do is click a button and it’s gone.
- If there is an experience that you want to remain public, simply play or favorite that experience.
Another thing is that this will affect older showcase games or open source places like Iris – Demonstration You seriously are disconnected from the platform if you think most developers have the time in a month to answer a questionaire for every game they’ve ever made, a lot of smaller developers simply do not have the time! There is no reason to do this, this will permanently stop us accessing old games, there are simply far too many for us to tell you to unlock, that’s a bandaid solution to this abysmal decision. We shouldn’t need to update questionaires if our answer still results in the same age rating. Unless there was a recent change made, games with mild repeated violence were always rated as 9+. At the end of the day, the Roblox playerbase is large and diverse enough that there will always be an audience for your game, regardless of what age restrictions or other maturity limits you add.
Add your staff as admins
- I’ll be sure to post updates in the Discord server when I get something.
- Usually i disagree with the word “ragebait” but continuously ignoring all of us and having this be the FIRST thing back from the new years has to literally be satire because ???
- You’re getting models that are ridiculously quick and ridiculously cheap.
- I also thought about this, but they probably won’t do anything about it, the owner being banned has already broken some rule and owners who abandoned it were already expected to have a downfall or their system no longer working in the game over time.
- With multiple features like listing servers, seeing player trust scores, and more, you get to take control of your game once again and know all about your players.
- Last month we launched the Text Chat signal and integrated it into the default matchmaking settings for every experience.
The owner of the game has admin by default (the group/user), and sandbox mode is enabled (all people in studio have admin). Fully open-source client and server code and app server on Github. And I assume once experiences get made unavailable they will be uneditable.
chatting with us today. Have a nice day. Good bye.
The point isn’t about being too lazy to make a game — it’s about radically accelerating Roblox game creation. If you can’t be bothered to make a game, then why are you even developing games. Thanks now I cant even trust basic games to not be made of AI slop! So is this just fully AI generated slop put in to an electron app and calling it an “AI Game Builder”? This is not only incredible, it’s game changing. It helps turn people into programmers by showing them how systems work, giving them working code, and helping them learn through iteration.

For example, all of the following larger scale games are allowed to be played by players of all ages, despite all of them having features that any regular developer would have to restrict. These changes will enable users and parents to make better decisions on the content they engage with – making Roblox a better place for everyone in our community. Starting today, users and parents can find default minimum ages alongside content maturity labels on Experience Pages. As part of our commitment to legacy content on Roblox we will identify notable experiences from creators who are no longer active on Roblox, and ensure they have content maturity labels.
By default, users in each age group can chat with users in the groups directly above and below theirs (i.e., users 9-12 can chat with users in their own group, as well as those in the under 9 and groups.) Our age-check requirement to chat is rolling out globally wherever chat is available. In the meantime, we want to let you preview Occlusion Culling in Studio to get your feedback and ensure we address any issues you experience with it! Alright so it’s nice to see that a roblox dev with 9 years of experience develops such high quality titles like these. I cannot stress this enough, everything you input into this model will theoretically be able to show up in AI results giving everyone access to YOUR games content. As a Roblox game dev with 9 years experience that manually codes my whole life until recently, this is my take.
This is effectively you collecting entire games at this point. Stardew Valley was made by a single guy, without a game engine, you are using a game engine and it’s one of the easiest in the world and you still need AI, Are we deadass gang? The main issue I have with this or any (current) public AI, all content is collected and stored. It’s not “AI slop”; it’s about empowering people to focus more on creativity than on technical barriers like programming.
Will remove my original reply to the thread as it appears it may be inaccurate. Ok, well I guess there must have been a recent change made for that then when Roblox started adding 5+ to age recommendations last week. There’s no substantial downside to including mild repeated violence in a game; at most you’re locking out 0.5% of the playerbase.
We understand that many classic experiences are no longer actively maintained, and we want to help keep these popular classics available for players to enjoy. Your experience will go live again as soon as it has a content maturity label. While unrated experiences will become unplayable after the deadline, your work is safe. We are also sharing details on how we intend to keep legacy Roblox experiences available even if the developer is no longer active. If you haven’t done so yet, please take a few minutes to complete the questionnaire to ensure your experience stays live.
Additions
Older Roblox games are lightly active and not all of them are popular, there needs to be a better way to go with this. So far all i can see this doing is just mess up old/abandoned experiences for no real benefit. While this isn’t a entirely bad move i believe that this move specifically misses the point of the entire issue people have been trying to signal to you all.
Why BulletMindV1 Outperforms ChatGPT & Claude in Roblox Game Dev –…
But what about Blox Fruits and 99 Nights in the Forest using weapons? To me I feel like if an Restricted Experience (17+) Changes their survey a Moderator has to Manually check and validate it’s okay for Roblox. To me this is considered a huge oversight as I tried updating the questionnaire and it being completely unchangeable. I’d like to ask questions regarding restricted 17+ Experiences, as there is NO WAY to reinstate any other age rating below 17+ if you click yes into specific questions in the survey by mistake. Well, that is definitely a good reason and I stand corrected on Grow a Garden if they have implemented that, but what about Blox Fruits and 99 Nights in the Forest using weapons? So i really have to ask what is the issue this is trying to fix exactly?
However, since your AI also contains some of the same issues, it is also subject to the same critiques. And by the way, this is not just an issue with this tool, every mainstream AI service has similar issues. This sort of data collection makes me very skeptical about ever using it.
This is an amazing update! I’d would also like to see an update to Robloxs lighting engine. Nice I use unions for all my builds, so this is going to help out a lot! Any idea when this will start rolling out to live servers? When will this feature arrive for viewport frames/if it’s ever planned? You can also compare the impact of Occlusion Culling by turning it on/off in the Beta Feature menu (requires a Studio restart).
